About Us

Our People Make Us Special

van.jpgThe staff at SarahCare® of Great Valley is dedicated and highly trained in caring for older adults. We recognize that our staff has the greatest impact on your loved one’s quality of life while at our center. We work extra hard to recruit, screen and comprehensively train each and every staff member because we know that this is one of the very most important things we do.

We search for people who are caring, compassionate, tolerant, patient and flexible and who have the ability to recognize and honor the uniqueness of each participant and family. You can rest easy that your loved one is being well cared for every minute that they are with us. Our staff consists of an Executive Director, Wellness Nurse, Programming Director and Caregivers. Our Center is also supported by a Registered Nurse, a consulting Registered Dietician and a Social Worker.

We stay current on new and upcoming practices, ideas and programs with our on-going staff training through in-services and specialized workshops.

Our Mission

Our mission is to keep families together, help older adults stay at home and in their communities, and greatly enhance the quality of life for each participant and their family.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy of care is really quite simple. Focus on strengths rather than weaknesses. Celebrate successes. Respect the rights, dignity, life story and needs of each participant and family. Proactively communicate. Be kind and compassionate, always. By doing these things, by approaching each day as a new day, we make a real difference in our participants’ and families’ lives.

We offer opportunities for socialization and companionship as well as specialized care for individuals and their families who may face challenges associated with Alzheimer's and other Dementias, physical impairments, stroke, Parkinson's Disease, diabetes, and special diets.

SarahCare® of Great Valley provides adult day programming and services without regard to race, gender, sexual preference, national origin, ancestry, religious creed, handicap, age or ability to speak English.
